Paper is too soft

This journal is so pretty. I wish I could give it five stars, but I can’t because of how soft and sensitive the paper is. I write with a pencil and write very lightly and it’s impossible to erase anything because the paper simply crumbles for the price, I feel like you should be able to use this functionally. And since I wrote on it, I’m just out $30.

Hi Setphanie,

I am so happy that you tried this paper journal out. It was loveling made from upcycled cotton by artisans paid a fair living wage in India. Ths is the first time hearing anything negative about this journal, I will of course take it into account when looking to reorder. But I would like to check in one one thing, it seams that you paid for this journal on sale for only $17.00?

I have one idea for you so this journal doesn't go to waste, since as a small business we are funconally unable to return items purchased on sale, or that has been used (common policies, for all businesses not just small ones.) I'm wondering, since this journal has no dates included in it, one of my favorite features, maybe you could pass it along to friend who would enjoy it more than you if they prefered a different writing utensil?

Thanks again for leaving your feedback, and for supporting our small sustainable shop.

Cheers
