- How To Plant :: Tear or cut the card into small pieces. Press into 1/8 inch of soil in a pot or garden bed. Keep moist until established. Plants tolerate partial shade and need about 4 hours of direct sunlight daily. Germination begins in 1-6 weeks depending on growing zone.
